Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 12, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Wage Recovery Network ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, shares, and protects information about visitors to wagerecovery.org and users of our online wage-recovery assessment (the "Service"). By using the Service you consent to the practices described here.

1. Information We Collect

We collect the following categories of information:

a. Information you provide

  • Identifiers: first and last name, email address, telephone number, state of residence.
  • Assessment information: type of wages owed, source of income, dollar amount owed, when you were last paid, whether you were refused payment, documentation you have, a free-text description of your situation, and whether you already have an attorney.
  • Any other information you voluntarily submit through the Service or in communications with us.

b. Information collected automatically

  • Device and browser data: IP address, user agent, referring URL, pages viewed, time on page, and similar analytics data.
  • Cookies, pixels, and similar technologies (see our Cookie Policy).
  • Marketing identifiers: Meta Pixel identifiers (fbp, fbc), UTM parameters, click IDs, and campaign metadata.

c. Information from third parties

  • Advertising and analytics providers (for example, Meta / Facebook) may provide us with information about how you interacted with our ads or the Service.

2. How We Use Information

  • Evaluate whether you may have a potential wage-recovery claim and connect you with participating attorneys and law firms.
  • Contact you by phone, SMS/MMS, email, and mail (including via automated technology) about your submission — see the TCPA consent in our Terms.
  • Operate, maintain, secure, debug, and improve the Service.
  • Measure marketing performance, including sending hashed identifiers and event data to advertising platforms (such as Meta's Conversions API) for conversion measurement and optimization.
  • Prevent fraud, enforce our Terms, and comply with legal obligations.

3. How We Share Information

We share information with:

  • Participating attorneys and law firms. When you submit the assessment, we share your submission with one or more independent attorneys or law firms who pay for the opportunity to evaluate and, if they choose, contact you about representation. These parties are independent and are not controlled by Wage Recovery Network.
  • Service providers. Hosting, analytics, marketing-automation, CRM, email/SMS delivery, and lead-routing vendors that process information on our behalf under written agreements limiting their use of the data.
  • Advertising and measurement partners. Including Meta, for conversion tracking. We may transmit hashed contact identifiers and event metadata to allow those partners to measure and optimize campaigns.
  • Legal, safety, and compliance. When required by law, court order, or subpoena; to protect our rights, property, or safety; to enforce our Terms; or in connection with an investigation of suspected illegal activity.
  • Business transfers. In connection with any merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, bankruptcy, or sale of assets.

We do not sell your information for money. Sharing with advertising partners may qualify as a "sale" or "sharing" of personal information under certain state laws — see Section 6.

4. Retention

We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this Policy, including to comply with our legal, tax, accounting, and record-keeping obligations, and to establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.

5. Security

We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect information from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, and destruction. No method of transmission over the internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

6. Your Rights (California and Other State Residents)

Depending on where you live, you may have rights under laws such as the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA), the Colorado Privacy Act, the Virginia Consumer Data Protection Act, and similar laws, including the right to:

  • know or access the personal information we hold about you;
  • request deletion of your personal information;
  • request correction of inaccurate personal information;
  • opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information and of certain targeted advertising;
  • limit the use and disclosure of sensitive personal information; and
  • appeal a denial of your request.

To exercise any of these rights, email legal@wagerecovery.org. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights. You may designate an authorized agent to act on your behalf. We may need to verify your identity before responding.

Do Not Track / Global Privacy Control. Our site honors the Global Privacy Control (GPC) browser signal as a request to opt out of the sale/sharing of personal information for the browser and device transmitting the signal.

7. Children

The Service is not directed to children under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

8. International Users

The Service is intended for users in the United States. If you access it from outside the United States, you consent to the transfer, storage, and processing of your information in the United States.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date reflects the most recent change. Material changes will be highlighted on the Service.
